In Part A of this lesson, students work in groups to explore case studies (combination of film clips, background information and research data) of collaborative science that is taking place in the Great Bear Sea region. In their groups, students provide a synopsis of the case study and answer some guiding questions to explore the research in depth. Part B has students sharing their learning with others through a jigsaw approach. This provides students with exposure to a variety of collaborative research methodologies that focus on sustainable resource management and marine planning. FYI the Eel Grass video no longer available.
